This talk zooms in on workshops that were set up as games in Belfast, Delhi, Prayagraj, Tokyo and Hanoi. During the collaborative workshops, the player-participants picked cards with specific instructions and rolled a dice to determine their route. The main aim of the games was to explore the environment through sensorial tasks and creative methods while turning left or right at crossing or junctions. Metaphors of ‘playing’, ‘stretching’, and ‘fermenting’ will be used to delve deeper into the epistemological and ontological dimensions of the activities-in-motion and explore how different modes of making and pedestrian movement shaped the production of embodied knowledge.
